Project Description:
The Libertryville Downtown Streetscape is 0.6 miles of IDOT streetscape located in downtown Libertyville, combined with 16 blocks of adjoining street improvements. A T.I.F. District financed the project with 1 year planning followed by 5 years of construction. The work included roadway work, new traffic signals, all new lighting standards, decorative pavements and crosswalks, complete site furnishings package, two downtown parks renovated wtih decorative landscape plantings, playgrounds and fully irrigated.
